requests

By request, I am going to recount my supplements. I can not, however, do this without posting a brief caveat: Don't take what I am taking. Do not, unless your doctor recommends it, even think about it. They may be over the counter vitamins, but they are able to do what very powerful anti-pscyhs cannot. Seriously, read, think and ponder this post, but do not take this stuff unless you have independant verification that this will work for you.

This formula is the result of about 3 years of testing and tinkering. It works now, but it is not perfect. I might be hard on my body. I don't know. It is a lot of pills, and a lot of hope. I do not like this, but I have been asked by several people, so hear we go. Did I mention not to take these?

Ok.

morning:

50 mg zinc
225 mg p5p
1 g niacinamide
500 g ester C
1000 mcg biotin
1 cap Florastor
cod liver oil

around 12: 7200 mcg folate

Around 5: 7200 mcg folate

evening:

100 mg zinc
1 g niacinamide
500 g ester C
1000 mcg biotin
1 cap Florastor
DMAE
100 mg selenium
400 iu E
30 mg Mangenese

Before bed:

350 MTP II.

Ok, that is it. I wish I could reduce it. I will freely admit that I am nervous to do so. I take all supplements on an empty stomach but the MTP.

So, discuss, comment, think, whatever. This is what I take. I really wish I could have a cup of cofee in the morning like everyone else, and no pills, but this is what I need. sigh.

I will stop complaining about taking my very few vitamins 3x day now. Happy New Year.

Hello.

Does Pfeiffer specifically recommend that you take your supplements on an empty stomach?

Also, what's the reasoning behind taking folate at a different time than your other supplements?

I've had some testing done recently which confirmed that I'm histapenic, too. I plan to go to the Pfeiffer Center to get more thorough testing done, once I have the funds to do so.

Thanks.

took me a while to see this comment.

I take them on an empty stomach to increase absorbtion. Zinc absorbtion is around 15% with food, 35 % on an empty stomach. Folate is absorbed twice as well on an empty stomach. The PTC did not advise this, I decided to do that myself.

Anonymous, sorry it took so long to respond, but congratualtions about your decision to go tot he PTC. Please tell us how that went once you find the money to go. I can tell you that insurance, if you ahve it, will cover about 400 dollars of the initial visit, depending on insurere. Once they give you a check, demand they redo the accounting. This sometimes results in more money being returned to you.
